About

Technology should empower, not overwhelm.

I came up through engineering, and I still believe the best technology leadership stays close to the craft. At Cyber Square, I own the architecture, the AI roadmap and the engineering organisation behind a platform that is changing how schools teach computer science, AI and robotics.

My work sits where product vision, engineering depth and business outcomes meet. I have built and scaled platforms across the education industry, and I judge every decision by three things: performance, resilience and the impact it has on the learner.

I like turning bold ideas into products that are fast and stable at the same time. I keep a close eye on what is next, from generative AI and edge computing to serverless and platform engineering, and I adopt it only where it creates real value for students and schools.

IntuitiveSoftware people understand without a manual.
IntelligentAI where it adds value, not where it’s fashionable.
Future-readyArchitecture that scales and adapts.
Cloud Lab

Click Run. We spin up a computer.

Every time a student presses Run in the Cyber Square Cloud Lab, we provision a dedicated machine in AWS on demand and stream it to them over VNC. No local setup, and one architecture for every workload, from a first print() to machine learning and deep learning. Pick a program and see it happen.

Muhammed Sidan is the Chief Technology Officer of Cyber Square, an AI and robotics learning platform for schools. He owns the architecture, the AI roadmap and the engineering organisation, with a focus on cloud-native systems, serverless, generative AI and technical leadership.

What is Cyber Square?

Cyber Square is an EdTech company, building since 2014, whose platform brings computer science, AI, robotics and computational thinking to students aged 3 to 18. Its curriculum is delivered in 10+ countries and used by 500+ partner schools across India, the UAE, the UK and Canada. Its tagline is “From Users to Creators”.

What is the Cyber Square AI Cloud Lab?

The AI Cloud Lab is Cyber Square’s cloud-based IDE. It supports Python, HTML/JS, SQL, Scratch, ScratchJr, Arduino and more, all in the browser with nothing to install.
